There is a saying, what doesn't kill us will make us stronger. However, what are we doing in America? Are we becoming a people filled with hate just like our enemies? Last week, I listened to several talk radio shows. One woman said, "The next time I see a Democrat I'm going to slap them in the face." A man said, "We should just go over and nuke all the Arabs with limited nuclear weapons and teach them a lesson." And one radio talk show host called one call in listener a "jerk" because he simply made a statement that we need to get to the bottom of what the problems were with 911. We don't need to be going around slapping people, nuking people, and especially a journalist calling a listener a jerk because he has expressed his point of view. America, are we becoming like our enemies? I can tell you one thing, based on emails I have been receiving, there are many Americans that are very angry on how the politicians are handling the who knew what when fiasco, including President Bush and Vice President Cheney.

First, I want to mention that I not a Democrat or Republican. I'm registered as an Independent and I vote for the person, not the party. I am mentioning this because I want it to be made perfectly clear that my follwing thoughts have nothing to do with my comments on this serious subject...they have to do with common sense.

I'm sure that many of you are tired of hearing about the who knew what when issue. However, I am quite sure you do not know the complete chronological order of facts which I will present shortly. But first, I want to express my disdain with many of my fellow journalists. Over the course of the last couple of weeks, I have become ashamed of some of my fellow journalists. Many journalists, including network anchors have taken a few simple facts, arranged them to make it appear that Bush knew before hand regarding the terrorists attacks of 911. If you keep reading, you will know the facts, the truth, and you will see what the real problems are, not what the mainsteam media wants you to believe. Know one thing, May is sweeps months for the networks. A 1/2 increase in ratings can add hundreds of millions of advertising revenues to the network. It is my contention that during this time, the news is hype, slated, even highly politically suspect at this time because of this.

The following facts and events are listed in dated order. This is done to show the importance of timelines. I want to emphasize that this problem does not start with the Bush adminstration. It started with the Clinton adminstration. In addition, Bush knew problems existed at the FBI, CIA and INS. Cleaning up these agencies was one of Bush's campaign promises. That was 9 months ago, who what happened? What I have seen using the pieces of the puzzle angers me. The out and out lies that have been told by politicians and cabinet members are apparent. You will see that we have very competent field people in the FBI and CIA, but the problem is we have intelluctuals lacking common sense in positions of authority. These people failed to act upon information with prudent forward corrective measures to protect American citizens. The dates that are in red are events that supposedly both President Clinton and President Bush were informed of the information.

JUNE, 1994 - Analysts at the Pentagon provide a report that was commissioned by the NSA and Senate Intelligence Committee. The report concludes that religious terrorists could hijack commercial airliners and crash them into the Pentagon or White House. President Clinton is informed of this report.

Please keep the above in the back of your mind, it is very important to know because of a statement that National Security Adviser, Condoleezza Rice made on May16th, 2002, nine months after the attack. This statement shows the hypocrisy of her statement based on the facts beforehand.

December, 1994 - Algerian terrorists hijack an Air France plane intending to crash it into the Eiffel Tower. French Swat teams storm the plane and prevent the attack.

January, 1995 - In the Philippines, police accidently discover a bomb factory run by Islamic terrorists. The arrested suspect reveals plans to crash a commercial plane into the CIA Building in Virginia.

September, 1999 - A report issued by the Library of Congress states that suicide bombers could crash land an aircraft into the Pentagon, CIA or White House. My question, did anyone on the Senate Intelligence Committee or in the Bush Admistration read this report?

January through September, 2001 - FAA issues 15 separate memos to the aviation industry warning of possible imminent hijackings of airliners inside the United States. Two of the warnings are directly linked to Osama Bin Laden as a suspect. Bush is informed of these warnings.

June 28, 2001 - CIA Director, George Tenet, warns National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice in a written report that it is highly likely that a significant al-Queda terrorist attack will take place in the near future in the U.S. Was Bush informed of this...seems everyone at the White House has amnesia about this. However, please remember this for later when Rice issues a statement on May 16th, 2002, 9 months after the 911 attack.

July 5, 2001 - In a White House security meeting, counterterroism officials warn the FBI, FAA, INS and others that a major attack on the United States is coming soon. Again, amnesia sinks in at the Bush White House.

June 26, 2001 - CIA espionage sources report a spike in intelligence traffic concerning possible attacks around July 4th. Bush is informed.

July 2, 2001 - FBI warns law-enforcement agencies of the possible al-Queda attacks overseas. Says domestic strikes cannot be ruled out. Bush is informed.

July 1, 2001 - Diane Feinstein, member of the Senate Intelligence Committee issues a press statement. "Intelligence staff tell me that there is a major probability of a terrorist incident within the next three months." Senator Feinstein pleads with the White House and Congress to put more money and resources into intelligence and counter terrorism measures to protect citizens. Her pleas are ignored.

July 5, 2001 - CIA tells Bush again that despite a non eventful July 4th, attacks during the summer are still possible. Bush is supposedly informed.

July 5, 2001 - Bush instructs Condoleezza Rice to find out what agencies are doing with al-Queda threat information. If she did...why isn't the information not getting to her or not being taken seriously? I believe some very pointed questions need to be asked by the Senate Inntelligence Committe to Ms. Rice.

July 6, 2001 - A National Security Council group led by Richard Clarke meets to discuss intelligence, possible terrorist attacks overseas. Non-essential travel by counter terrorism staff is suspended. These are serious questions that must be asked and answered.

July 10, 2001 - FBI Agent Ken Williams from the FBI Phoenix office sends FBI Headquarters in Washington a memo detailing Middle Eastern students at an Arizona flight school and suggested that they could be learning to fly planes and use them in some sort of terror plot. Earlier in February, the FAA had investigated Hani Hanjour while he was studying at another Arizona Flight School. Hanjour was one of the 911 hijackers who flew into the Pentagon.

MID JULY, 2001 - CIA warns White House about another possible al-Queda attack on Bush at the G-8 summit in Genoa, July 20-22. One threat is passed to U.S. intelligence sources from Eqyptian sources detailing a possible plot of Muslim terrorists crashing a plane into a building. The sources simply stated a building. This is the first occurence that Bush was informed of a possible plot to use a plane to crash into a building.

July 18, 2001 - FBI warns domestic law enforcement agencies of threats connected to the millennium bombing case. Bush informed.

THE NEXT EVENT IS THE FIRST BREAKDOWN IN THIS MESS

LATE JULY - FBI Analysts in TWO special counter terrorism units at the Washington FBI Headquarters review FBI Agent Ken Williams memo about the muslims in Phoenix taking flight instruction lessons to fly commerical airplanes. The memo never gets past two mid-level unit chiefs.

EARLY AUGUST - George Tenet meets with a group of Senators and provides them a report on al-Queda. According to Senators on the Intelligence Committee when this mess hit in May, 2002, much of the information they are finding out now was not shared back then. Why? Was Tenet told not to share it with the Committee members. But this does not make any sense because of Senator Fienstein's urgent pleas that there was a serious problem. Was Fienstein getting information that other committee members were not or was she paying attention to what was already there and the rest of the Senate Intelligence Committee are now simply trying to use a smoke screen to take the heat of them and blame Bush?

July 28, 2001 - Muslim Djamel Beghai is arrested. He reveals information about a planned bomb attack on the U.S. Embassy in Paris.

August 6, 2001 - While Bush is at his ranch in Crawford, Texas, he is supposedly informed by the CIA during his daily briefing by the CIA of al-Queda, possible threats which include truck bombs, boat bombs, bioweapons and including that Osama Bin Laden may hijack airplanes.

The first mention of hijack planes used as weapons

August 15, 2001 - A flight school in Minneapolis reports Zacarias Moussaoui to the FBI as suspicious. Moussaoui is not awaiting trial. Moussaoui is arrested on August 17th on immigration charges. Agents try to obtain a search warrant to search his apartment but are denied by the Justice Department. Bush is not informed about Moussaoui or this warrant problem. After 911, a warrant is finally obtained and evidence links him to the 911 highjackers.

August 17, 2001 - An FBI agent warns that Moussaoui may be planning to fly something into the World Trade Center. His warnings are ignored.

August 23, 2001 - The INS tells the CIA that suspected terrorist al-Midhar had entered hte country on August 23.

August 23, 2001 - The CIA asks the FBI to help find Khalid al-Midhar a known terrorist that has slipped into the country. Bush is not informed.

LATE AUGUST - CIA asks the INS to put Khalid al-Midhar on a watch list because of ties to the Cole attack. Shortly after this, the FBI finally tells the CIA about Moussaoui. The CIA asks foreign intelligence agencies for information about Moussaoui. al-Midhar is later identified as one of the 911 highjackers who crashes into the Pentagon. Bush is not informed.

August 27, 2001 - French authorities notify U.S. agencies that French born Moussaoui is a suspected Islamic terrorist. Bush is not informed.

HERE IS THE SECOND BREAKDOWN IN THIS MESS

EARLY SEPTEMBER, BEFORE 911 ATTACK

Minnesota FBI agent writes an analytical memo on Moussaoui's case since he was taking flight instruction in Minnesota, presenting a theory that terrorists could fly a plane into the World Trade Center. FBI Headquarters nor Bush is not informed of this memo supposedly. If not why? This does not agree with the statement issued by FBI Director Robert Mueller on September 17, 2001. In my opinion, someone is trying to cover their behind here.

September 17, 2001 - ( after the 911 attack ) FBI Director Robert Mueller informs reporters that there were no warning signs that I'm aware of that would indicate this type of operation in the country. Now I ask you this, reading what you have read, how could any government official make such a statement? This is important because once you read National Security Advisor, Condoleezza Rice's statement on May 16, 2002, you will see exactly what is happenning.

September 10, 2001 - Senator Diane Feinstein asks for a meeting with Vice-President Cheney over her concerns she presented in early July and recent reports on terrorism. Cheney's chief of staff brushes Feinstein off that they will need six months to prepare for the meeting. Feinstein tell Cheney's chief of staff she is afraid they don't have six months.

September 10, 2001 - A CIA plan to attack al-Queda in Afganistan with heavy support for Northern Alliance is put on Bush's desk for when he returns from Florida. My question here is, why did the CIA prepare this report? Only someone from the Executive Office can order the CIA to do something like this. Who was that person, why and when are my questions? None of the Senators on the Intelligence Committee did not know of this plan until it surfaced after the events of 911 and until recently. Was this a fact after the matter to take the heat off Bush? This is something that the CIA can't just throw together in a matter of days. Based on the information above, why was a failing airport security program not replaced instead? The GAO accounting office had issued many reports over the last several years, security tests shows that government agents posing as travelers were getting through airport security checkpoints with guns and knives. The company that had been running the security services at airports had been fined, written up numerous times. Hello...who was sleeping at the switch here? One fact, we were because we failed to make our elective officials do something. This situation only proves that Americans must become active in knowing what their elected officials are and are not doing for us.

May 16, 2002 - Nine Months after the 911 attack, National Security Adviser under siege with questions by the press of who knew what when issued the following statement:

"I don't think that anybody could have predicted these people would take an airplane and slam it into the World Trade Center...that they would use an airplane as a missile."

This is the most blatant lie I have heard in this mess. What I find truly amazing here in Rice's statement is the cleaver wording. Note that she says, "slam it into the World Trade Center". She is attempting to circumvent the problem here. She is using the tragedy as a means to take the heat off. I don't know about you, but this truly angers me in the truth that is being twisted here. First of all, CIA Director George Tenet warned her in a report on June 28, 2001, three months before the 911 attack with the following: that it is highly likely that a significant al-Queda terrorist attack will take place in the near future in the U.S. Before this, she had been warned in reports from intelligences agencies that terrorists could hijack planes and crash them into the Pentagon or White House. Yes, her statement says they had no idea that they would crash them into the WTC, but they certainly knew that terrorists could very well hijack planes and use them as weapons against buildings. Do they really think that American people are stupid not to catch this?

May 25th, 2002 - FBI Agent Colleen Rowley in Minneapolis blasts the FBI And FBI Director in a 14 page letter to the Senate Intelligence Committee. In her letter, she claims that FBI superiors simply ignored the warnings. She also stated that if the agents in Minneapolis had been able to get the search warrant to explore Moussaoui's computer, they would have found out the information at least about the other two terrorists that drove planes into the World Trade Center and could have very well possibly prevented the attack. Thank God for people like Agent Rowley that will stand up and be counted even though she has probably ruined her career.

What is the bottom line? Anyone that tries to pin this on the agencies has a serious case of amnesia. First, two FBI agents, one on August 17 and another in early September issued warnings concerning a possible plane being used to crash into the World Trade Center. In addition, agents wanted to search Moussaouis's computer on August 18th, but were denied a search warrant Am I missing something here? Second, wasn't anyone paying any attention to all the other reports and facts? Third, how dare any public official make such statement when the facts dispute the hypocritical statement that Rice made. She is also speaking for the President, so what does this tell you. Do politicians view Americans as just plan stupid and will accept anything told to them?

There are the facts of who knew what when. Knowing them, you can see now what is the real problem. It is very logical and obvious. This has nothing to do with finger pointing that both parties are doing for political gain. The problem is they had the information...why was it not acted upon? In my opinion has to do with a severe breakdown of communications and people not within the agencies, but the lack of the commen sense not used by those in the Bush White House. I fault President Bush for the following. One of his campaign arguments was about the mess that the FBI, CIA and INS agencies were in. Bush had 9 months prior to 911 to clean these agencies up. There is an old saying, "The Buck Stops Here". To me, exept for the Minneapolis mess, the agencies were doing their job in reporting what they were finding. President Bush in my opinion because of the facts has placed too much trust in certain people around him to provide him with information that should be conveyed to him. In my opinon, there are certain people in Bush's cabinet positions that are intelluctual giants, but lack common sense. It is very evident of what has happened and at the same time, very, very scary regarding the safety of American citizens. Cabinet members in the Bush administration did not connect the dots in this mess and they should be held accountable for. The Director of the FBI in my opinion has alot of explaining to do about the screwup with teh search warrant for Moussaoui, the 20th highjacker. Not only an answer as to why, but who is going to be held accountable for this serious screwup? Bottom line, any governement official, either appointed or elected, that is trying to ignore this problem for whatever reason, the question needs to be asked, should this person be in that position of not only authority but of responsibility?

Let's not forget Clinton. This problem also goes back to Clinton. There were numerous warnings during his last term in office. Clinton did not want to take on the airline industry by cleaning it up concerning what they already knew was very poor security at airports. The reason, economics. The airlines were already having serious financial difficulties. In addiiton, Clinton did not want to do anything that would injure his economic upswing at the time. My opinion after knowing all this is this. The 3,500 people that died at the World Trade Center did not have to die.

I am also rather upset with Vice-President Cheney's stance on this matter with his statements that anyone that is questioning any of this is un-american. How dare he for one simple reason. There is a huge problem here and it needs to be fixed and you will not know how to fix it unless you know what happened. Is that being un-american for wanting to know what happened so that it will not happen again to save lives?

I am throughly disgusted with the Democrats, Republicans and Vice President Cheney's reaction to this. They are all playing political games concerning this mess. However, in doing so, they are placing Americans at risk with their very lives. Senator Feinstein tried to bring the urgency of this matter to the attention of Vice-President Cheney in her statement of "I don't believe we have six months." Cheney's chief of staff told her it would take six months before they could schedule a meeting about it. That was the day before 911. And if you noticed when this mess hit the media two weeks ago, the Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee of which Senator Feinstein is a member of, said some of the reports were the first they had seen of them. So, it is very evident that Feinstein never had the meeting that she requested with Cheney ten months ago, and his Chief of Staff said it would take six months to schedule a meeting. Evidently, someones schedule got screwed up, or was someone avoiding the meeting because too many questions would have been asked that someone did not want to answer?

Can you imagine what our enemies, the very ones that want to blow us up are saying as they watch all this nonsense. I bet you they are sitting back laughing and saying, "Oh...very good...we have them fighting and chasing each other's tails about this. Oh...look how stupid the Americans, we can strike them again because they are too busy lying to one another. They won't even see us coming again."

I hope that you will see one thing in the facts I have presented. I did not present the facts to point fingers, to place blame, I presented the facts to show that we have a very serious problem in how our government agencies are working and how both Clinton and Bush ignored these warnings, ( Both Bush and his advisors also had all of the previous warnings that Clinton had, you must keep that in mind as well ). The bottom line is things need fixing and the American people do not deserve to be lied to anymore. Nor do Americans deserve to be insulted by the Vice-President as being un-american by asking the question, what went wrong. I have learned that those that scream the loudest and insult people are the very ones that are hiding the truth. And the excuse that an investigation should not be held because it would injure national security is a bunch of nonsense, another political game to avoid the truth. Americans have the the right to know when it places their very lives in jeopardy. Cheney's statements were for one purpose and one purpose only. That was to take the heat off President Bush. It was nothing more than a political game. Another words, the truth doesn't matter. The bottom line based on the facts is there is a serious problem, it needs fixing. It will do no good to point fingers, what has happened has happened, nothing can change that. However, we can do something about the future if we deal with the truth and nothing but the truth and not all of these games that Democrats, Republicans and the Bush Adminstation are playing. It is time for everyone to stop acting like a angry pouting brat because ego's have been injured. We must admit we screwed up. The American people can accept that, mistakes are made. What the American public cannot accept I believe are the lies, coverups and what is very apparent being manipulated to believe what others want us to believe and not what the truth is.

I encourage every American to write, call, fax their elected officials in Washington to get to the bottom of this fiasco. If findings show that certain people were very grossly incompetent in their duties, regardless of who they are, then they should be fired or resign. America lost 2,800 innocent lives because of someone's incompetence, does that not count for something? Americans must see why they must demand a full investigation into this matter, regardless where it may fall and on whom. Please write your Congressman.

I also want to point something out. Everyone, including the President says we are in a State of War. We are not in a declared formal state of war. Congress has not voted on a Declaration of War as required by the Constitution to declare war. Only Congress can declare a State of War against another nation. Al-Queda is not a nation. We are doing things militarily as if we are in a Declared State of War and we are not. What we are doing in Afganistan reminds me of how Viet Nam got started, in truth it is no different. Is history repeating itself? There is no question at all that America must fight terrorism and terrorists, that is a must. But if we are going to truly fight them, there can by no exceptions, no excuses for how we deal with it and those that are still a part of the terrorism. However, if we has a nation are to be what we represent, the defenders of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, then we need to follow our Constitution. I believe that Congress needs to actually vote on a State of War against any nation or group that perpetuates terrorism, helps terrorists, sells arms to terrorists or harbors terrorists. Now, this declared state of war by Congress does not have to mean military action. It can mean an end of all aid, selling and buying of goods to that nation. This will never happen though because big business that controls Washington would never let it happen. Presently, there are six known countries or nations, Iran, Libya, Palestine Liberation Organzation, Irag, Syria and North Korea that are funding terrorist groups. And in my opinion, Russia is one by the mere fact they are building a nuclear reactor for the Iranians who harbor terrorists. In addition, Russia is military equipment and arms to Iran and Syria, countries that support and habor terrorists. Wasn't it Bush that said a week after 911 that America would not tolerate any country that supported or harbored terrorists? Am I missing something here, is this political double speak or hypocrisy again? If we truly mean business in the war against terror, then we must cut any and all ties with these countries, any country that deals in any way shape or form in supporting terrorism. That includes selling arms to a country that supports and harbors terrorists. Congress needs to officially declare a State of War put these nations on notice that America will truly no longer tolerate terrorism in the world. Congress must do this to abide by our very Constitution. By not doing it, we are making a mockery of our Constitution. It is time for the politicians in Washington to be put on notice by Americans that we have had enough of the lies, of only being told what others wants us to know, and most importantly, that we, American voters are actually in charge of this country, not them. I implore you to seriously think about what I have presented.

By the way, here is some information you may find interesting. This is nothing unusual, this sort of thing has been going on for sometime in Washington. However, most people are unaware that it goes on. Shortly after Bush took office, Dick Cheney's daughter, Liz Cheney was placed as Deputy Assistant Secretary at the State Department. Also Cheney's son-in-law Phillip Perry was put is as Deputy Attorney General. Now, what this means is this. If Attorney General Ashcroft takes a leave of absence or is out of the country, Vice-President Cheney's son-in-law is the acting Attorney General of the United States. What's wrong with this picture? In addition, Colin Powell's son was placed as Chairman of the FCC. And the list goes on and on. As I understand it, over 200 of the top agency positions are held by relatives or friends of the Bush Adminstration. Those being relatives or friends of Cabinet Members of the Bush Adminstration. Whose watching the backdoor then? The political payoffs with jobs is still alive and well in Washington. And like I said, I'm not picking on the Bush Adminstration, this sort of thing has been going on for decades in Washington. Interesting fact to know because of the Enron scandal. I have said for years, that the political payoffs for jobs in Washington must stop. All top level positions in government should not be held by a relative of the President, Vice President, or any Cabinet member. If you see behind the curtain, what you see is our government being run by a select few individuals that are either related by blood or by years of being in the inner circle. If you do not think there is not an inner circle in this country, think again!

Bush, Putin, Oil, But Our Own Renewable Energy Sources Are Right Here

The friendship that President Bush is striking up with President Putin of Russia has me concerned. Russia is the number two oil producer in the world now because of artic oil discoveries in the last five years. It is being said that Russia has now become our ally. That things have changed in Russia, that is has become a democracy. This is far from the truth. When critics in the free press a couple of years ago started criticizing Putin on some issues, he shut free and independent newspapers and radio stations down. He still raging a war against innocent civilians in Chechyna, over 100,000 civilians have been killed in the last five years. So why is Bush doing this? Oil! Russia has tremendous oil reserves, some estimates are that Russia has more than Saudi Arabia. Bush thinks by becoming friendly with Putin and making Russia our ally that we can will have access to this oil and not be dependent on Arab oil. He could be correct, but at what price we will have to pay down the road. I do not trust Putin. Russia is building and selling two nuclear reactors to Iran. Iran and Syria still provide money and support to terrorist groups. Bush in my mind is making a mockery of his own stand of not dealing with any country that supports terrorism. If we purchase billions of dollars of oil from Russia, this provides capital, money for them to build the nuclear reactors to sell to Iran. Is this not a round about way of supporting terrorism by the purchase of Russian oil. Am I not correct here or am I missing something? Instead, what the United States should be doing to become more energy independent. Renewable Cheap Energy Sources Right Here In Our Own Backyard

About 8 percent of our energy came from renewable sources in 1999. This increased to 10% in 2000. However, only 1% of this renewable energy is coming from the states of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah and Wyoming. If the share of renewable energy in these states increased to just 20 percent, farmers, ranchers which are in poor financial shape would benefit in 170 million in lease payment for wind turbines. Carbon dixoide emissions from the region's electrical plants would fall by 40 percent. Carbon dixoide is the leading cause of global warming. A study in Colorado said that 2.4 billion in new investments and over 18,000 jobs could be seen by 2020. Actual studies indicate that as much as 30% of our energy requirements could come from renewable energy sources within our country. Presently, we get approximately 25% of our energy oil resources from Saudi Arabia. However, in President Bush's budgets, funds that were previously there to help in the building of these wind turbine farms have been cut. Some existing projects in Utah and California have been stopped. Now that you now this, what are your thoughts on what we should be doing instead of spending 1 billion dollars a day on a hopeless, non bearing fruit war in Afganistan?

Those Germs At Work Are Making You Sick

I've said for years that 50% of illnesses, cold, flu could be avoid each year if we simply became cleaner. Well, a new study has proven my point. University of Arizona researchers found that the average office desk has over 400 times more bacteria than your toiletat home. And what has even more germs? Fax machines, telephones, computer keyboards. 7,000 samples were analyzed in work spaces in New York, Tucson, San Francisco and Tampa. New York had the most germs. Stop and think about it. How many times in the winter do you have co-workers come to work that are sick. Viruses and bacteria can live on surfaces up to 48 hours. If they are blowing their noses, sneezing on their hands and not washing them and then touch telephones, fax machines, doors, and especially bathroom doors at work places, all it takes is for you is to touch these surfaces and then touch your face, lips, nose and guess what, I can quarantee with almost certainty that you will come down with a cold. My advice and you may think this silly, take a can of Clorox disinfective spray to work. Spray telephones, fax machines, computer keyboards, door handles and even desk work areas at least 2-3 times a week. Studies that have been done in offices in which workers that do this shown have much as 70% less colds and flus in that office. Try it - it works!

Decrease Your Risk of Developing Colon Cancer By 60% For Men and 75% For Women

A recent Lousiana State University study shows that taking 250 mcg of folic acid daily will reduce your risk of developing colon cancer in men by 60% and in women by 75%. The researchers reasoning is that folic acid blocks DNA damage that leads to cancer. The american western diet does not provide enough folic acid daily. Dr. Willett at Harvard Research says that alcohol boosts colon cancer risk. If you want to eliminate this if you drink alcohol, he says to take 600mcg of folic acid daily. Personally I would settle in between at 400mcg daily.

This In-Expensive Test Could Save Your Life

C-reactive protein can elevate in your body. It is linked to inflammation. This simple in-expensive test was for some time ignored by physicians. Soft plague buildup in the heart blood vessels can rupture, however, prior to being ruptured, they become severely inflammed which will show up with a high CRP level. At first, some studies showed high levels of CRP in the blood of people that died suddenly from heart attacks, or those that suffered a heart attack. Sixteen studies have now shown how useful this test can be in predicting heart attack. Cardiologist, Paul Ridker of Women's Hospital in Boston says that a CRP level above 2 mg/dl signals a high risk of a sudden death from heart attack. Anyone over fifty should have this test done at least twice a year and if found to be high, it would pay to have other heart related tests done.

Back Pain - Could Be Cause By Bacteria

If you suffer from serious back pain, that pain could actually be an infecticious microorganism. Researchers at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham, England have reported that 43 out of 140 people that suffered from sciatica, pain running from the back into the legs actually were infected with this microorganism. This is 1 out of 3 people. Evidently, there are microscopic tears in the spinal disks due to herniation that allow these microorgamism into the tissues of the spine. Course of treatment is anti-biotics. However, if these microscopic tears remain, repeated infection by microrganism may occur, so period treatment with anti-biotics may have to be done for chronic sciatica sufferers. At least though this is now a treatment that provides relief for these suffereres.

Mother's Milk Versus Breast Milk

I've said for years that breast milk is the best choice to feed newborns for many reasons. A recent study published in Journal of American Medicine shows that babies that were breast fed for seven to nine months had higher IQ's that those breast feed two months or less and switched to formula. The average increase was 6 points, some as uch as 12. The average IQ is 100 so this is significant. They also found the babies had less illnesses of colds, etc.

Eating Right For Your Blood Type

Are you eating right for your blood type? There are four blood types, O,A,B and AB. Do you know there are certain foods you should be eating and some foods you should be avoiding because of your blood type?

Putin eliminated the Russian Tax Code and replaced it with a flat 13% federal tax which includes old age benefits, must like our social security program. Interesting, revenues have quadrupled in six months, people have a better quality of life, everyone is paying the same tax, including the rich and corporations. Investment by private investors have risen 200% the last six months creating hundreds of thousands of jobs in Russia. Small businesses have sprung up like mushrooms. There is no fraud, there are no corporation lobbyists lobbying officials for tax breaks. It eliminates so many problems. America is burdened with a 3,600 page tax code. It is time for change.
