My fellow Americans, our country is in grave danger of being destroyed by corruption within and NOT what our forefathers meant for her to be as written by our Constitution. Washington is being controlled by corporations and the politics are corrupt in Washington by corporate influence. Our forefathers never meant for corporations to be an "entity" as a "person" with the same rights of an American citizen as the U.S. Supreme Court has ruled.
There is a old saying, "Those that do not remember and learn from their past are doomed to repeat it."
That could not be more true today because we have been repeating the mistakes of our past in America, we have remembered nothing.
Before I begin to share with you the facts, I want to clear up something and set the record straight with the facts because I am tired of hearing this
untruth passed around on message boards and emails.
President Obama DID NOT, I repeat DID NOTcreate the $15 trillion dollar debt we have today. President Obama inherited a debt of $11.4 trillion from the Bush Administration. Another $1.4 trilllion was created to bail out the banks and car companies to prevent a Depression worse than the 1929 one. This would not have happened if the Bush Adminstration and Republicans had been doing their job for middle class America instead of the corporations. The remaining nearly $1 trillion is debt borrowing for the funding of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan the last two years. We cannot balance the budget due to the incompetence of the elected officials, pork barrel projects by nearly every member of Congress. This has been going on in Washington since the mid 1980's. Our elected officials have not been working for middle class working America, but instead for the interest of corporations.
And so that those reading this will not think I am a Liberal Democrat, which I am not, I am an Independent, I make this statement as well. There were some Democrat politicians that are as much to blame as the Republicans. So the point I am making is, it has to do with the facts of who was NOT working for middle class working America, however, the truth and facts are; Republicans have always been for the corporations, bankers and the rich, not the working class. They may come across as they do care for working middle class America, but all you have to do is check their voting records and you will see this fact on how they have been bought by the lobbyists working for the corporations for the last fifty years or so.
Now, to what YOU can do for your country.
There is a solution...By the People...For the People !
America...something miraculous has happened in this country to save her. The formation of a 2nd Constitutional Convention has been in the process of organizing over the last year. I recently just found out about it myself.
What is this all about?
There has been a group of working class americans from all walks of life, volunteering Americans such as yourself that are reading this. They have silently been working on project for nearly a year. These are people such as yourself, American factory workers, Americans working in offices in all types of businesses across America, truck drivers, work at home single Mothers, Americans working in retail stores like Walmart, Kmart and Target and others, American working in health care, Doctors, Nurses, these groups of people have come together and started something that will truly save America. And America...they need your help.
Last year, the 99% movement was see here and across the globe. These were people who started to rise up against the political corporation that is occuring all over the globe. The problem with the 99% movement, they were simply protesting, sometimes resulting violence. The protestors here in the U.S. were were protesting certain problems, they had no viable solutions and especially a method to correct what has happened in America. Has this protesting of the 99% actually changed anything. NO, and it never will ! I urge the 99% movement to get behind this instead of marching in the streets. You are wasting time, energy and will not accomplish anything to correct the problems in this country. The 99% movement missed very important ways to correct what is wrong in America. There is a method and it is using our own written Constitution to do so, which is:
1: Convening a Constituitional Convention, elected delegates from all (50) states would be elected by the working class of America. At this 2nd Constitutional Convention, a list of greivances would be written and presented to each of our elected Members in Congress, the Senate and the House of Representatives, including the President and the U.S. Supreme Court.
2: If the greivances that have been compiled from this 2nd Constitutional Convention, by working class people such as yourself, if these greivances are not addressed by the current elected Members of Congress in the Senate and the House of Represenatives, then action will take place in every district in America and those elected officials will be replaced by various members of this Constitutional Convention.
This is what needs to be done. These actions are the ONLY way to restore America back to where she was, not being controlled by corrupt corporations and corrupt politicians. Protesting in the streets about our greivances is not going to do a thing. The only way to get things back on track in America is to tell our elected officials what we want corrected and if they don't, then they will be replaced by those that will get it done.
How long America are you going to just keep sitting back and letting what is being done to you get worse?

However, there a problem. To convene this Constitutional Convention, 878 elected delegates are needed for the election of delegates to be held June 1-3, 2012. This is two people from each of the 435 Congressional seats in Congress. So far, 551 delegates have signed up in all (50) states, but not all Districts have been candidates running in those Districts. This is where you come in America. Your country needs you America. Go to the website and become a part of this histroric moment by either running as a Delegate in your District, by voluntering, they need volunteers in every District and most important you can donate to help this historic moment happen. Also, the organization is in need of desperate funds for many things the Committee has planned, running television and print commercials during May and June before the election of Delegates on June 1-3.

The following is the PLAN of the 2nd Constitutional Convention and list of greivances that the organizing committee has come up with that will be expanded further at voted on by the delegates at the Constitutional Convention to be held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where it all began in the formation of our great country the week of July 4th, 2012.
WHEREAS THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION PROVIDES THAT:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
BE IT RESOLVED THAT WE, THE PEOPLE of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, in order to form a more perfect Union, by, for and of the People, shall elect citizen Delegates the weekend of June 1, 2012 to convene and attend a "CONTINENTAL CONGRESS 2.0" the week of July 4, 2012 in the City Of Philadelphia to prepare and ratify a PETITION FOR A REDRESS OF GRIEVANCES to be served upon the United States Congress, Supreme Court and President prior to November 6, 2012.
I. Voter Qualifications and Election of Delegates.
Between June 1, 2012 to June 3, 2012, the People, consisting of all United States citizens and lawful permanent residents who have reached the age of 18, regardless of party affiliation and voter registration status, shall elect two Delegates, one identifying as male and one identifying as female, by online vote, from each of the 435 Congressional Districts, Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia to represent the People at a CONTINENTAL CONGRESS 2.0.
The office of Delegate shall be open to all United States citizens and lawful permanent residents who have attained the age of 18 years. No candidate for Delegate to CONTINENTAL CONGRESS 2.0 will be permitted to run on a party line or use any party label while running for or serving as a Delegate. No candidate or Delegate may take contributions from any source except to fund his or her trip to CONTINENTAL CONGRESS 2.0 in Philadelphia. No politician holding elected or appointed office at the time of the Delegate election, including members of Congress, are eligible to run for or sit as a Delegate to CONTINENTAL CONGRESS 2.0.
The 99% Working Group and its steering committee shall organize, coordinate and transparently fund the election of Delegates. The Delegates shall be free from the corrupting influence of corporate money and all funds raised by the 99% Working Group shall be used for the purpose of funding the election of Delegates.
II. CONTINENTAL CONGRESS 2.0 on July 2nd-4th, 2012
In addition to ensuring a free and fair election of the Delegates to CONTINENTAL CONGRESS 2.0, the 99% Working Group shall be responsible for raising sufficient funds to secure a venue wherein the 878* Delegates may convene, deliberate and ratify the PETITION FOR A REDRESS OF GRIEVANCES.
Because the time to deliberate in Philadelphia will be limited, the Delegate candidates and elected Delegates shall meet electronically, or in person if possible, to confer with the People to write the PETITION FOR A REDRESS OF GRIEVANCES.
Similar to the first two Continental Congresses of 1774-1776, the elected Delegates alone, in consultation with their constituents will be responsible for the content of the final petition ratified in Philadelphia. Moreover, the Delegates to CONTINENTAL CONGRESS 2.0 shall implement their own rules, procedures, agenda, code of conduct, internal elections and/or appointments of committee members and officers to efficiently and expeditiously accomplish the People's mandate to present a PETITION FOR A REDRESS OF GRIEVANCES to all three branches of the government of the United States of America before the 2012 general election in November.
III. Ratification of the Petition for a Redress of Grievances.
The PETITION FOR A REDRESS OF GRIEVANCES, ratified by CONTINENTAL CONGRESS 2.0, shall be non-partisan and specifically address the critical issues now confronting the People of the United States of America due to the corrupting influence of unlimited money flowing into political campaigns and the urgent need for election reform.
The ratified PETITION FOR A REDRESS OF GRIEVANCES will be signed by the Delegates and presented at a reading ceremony at Independence Mall on the afternoon of July 4, 2012. The Petition will then be presented to all 535 members of Congress, the 9 members of the Supreme Court, the President of the United States for response before the November 6, 2012 general election.
IV. Suggested Content of the Petition for a Redress of Grievances.
Each state delegation to CONTINENTAL CONGRESS 2.0, prior to June 15, 2012, shall submit to the 99% Working Group, a list of their state's five most signficant grievances against the federal government. The grievances from each state will then be compiled into a master list of suggested grievances to be voted upon by the Delegates during the three day convention in July. The final PETITION FOR A REDRESS OF GRIEVANCES may or may not include the following six points suggested by the 99% Working Group:
V. Public Pledge And Demand For Redress. Based upon the foregoing Declaration and plan of action, IT IS FURTHER RESOLVEDPETITION FOR A REDRESS OF GRIEVANCES, ratified by CONTINENTAL CONGRESS 2.0 is not redressed by the three branches of the United States government within a reasonable time and to the satisfaction of the Delegates, said Delegates shall reconvene to organize and fund grassroots campaigns for congressioal candidates in all 50 states to fill every available congressional seat in the mid-term election of 2014. Only congressional candidates, regardless of party affiliation, who publicly pledge to redress all of the grievances and solutions contained in the July 4, 2012 Petition will be supported.
This is what gives the citizens of our great country to call a Constituional Convention under our Constitution
Legal Underpinning of Petition to Redress Grievances
What if the government ignores the Petition for Redress of Grievances drafted and ratified by Continental 2.0 in Philadelphia?
Then a law suit will be filed in Federal Court on behalf of all 878 delegates and the American People.
As the Supreme Court wrote last year in Borough of Duryea, Pa. v. Guarnieri 131 S.Ct. 2488 U.S.,2011, "This Court's precedents confirm that the Petition Clause protects the right of individuals to appeal to courts and other forums established by the government for resolution of legal disputes."
The Supreme Court in Guarnieri continued, "This Court has said that the right to speak and the right to petition are “cognate rights.” Thomas v. Collins, 323 U.S. 516, 530, 65 S.Ct. 315, 89 L.Ed. 430 (1945); see also *2495 Wayte v. United States, 470 U.S. 598, 610, n. 11, 105 S.Ct. 1524, 84 L.Ed.2d 547 (1985). 'It was not by accident or coincidence that the rights to freedom in speech and press were coupled in a single guaranty with the rights of the people peaceably to assemble and to petition for redress of grievances.” Thomas, 323 U.S., at 530, 65 S.Ct. 315.' Both speech and petition are integral to the democratic process, although not necessarily in the same way. The right to petition allows citizens to express their ideas, hopes, and concerns to their government and their elected representatives, whereas the right to speak fosters the public exchange of ideas that is integral to deliberative democracy as well as to the whole realm of ideas and human affairs. Beyond the political sphere, both speech and petition advance personal expression, although the right to petition is generally concerned with expression directed to the government seeking redress of a grievance."
Petitions to the National Legislature also played a central part in the legislative debate on the subject of slavery in the years before the Civil War. See W. Miller, Arguing About Slavery (1995). Petitions *2500 allowed participation in democratic governance even by groups excluded from the franchise. See Mark, The Vestigial Constitution: The History and Significance of the Right to Petition, 66 Ford. L.Rev. 2153, 2182 (1998). For instance, petitions by women seeking the vote had a role in the early woman's suffrage movement. See Cogan & Ginzberg, 1846 Petition for Woman's Suffrage, New York State Constitutional Convention, 22 Signs 427, 437–438 (1997). The right to petition is in some sense the source of other fundamental rights, for petitions have provided a vital means for citizens to request recognition of new rights and to assert existing rights against the sovereign.
Petitions to the courts and similar bodies can likewise address matters of great public import. In the context of the civil rights movement, litigation provided a means for “the distinctive contribution of a minority group to the ideas and beliefs of our society.” NAACP v. Button, 371 U.S. 415, 431, 83 S.Ct. 328, 9 L.Ed.2d 405 (1963). Individuals may also “engag[e] in litigation as a vehicle for effective political expression and association, as well as a means of communicating useful information to the public.” In re Primus, 436 U.S. 412, 431, 98 S.Ct. 1893, 56 L.Ed.2d 417 (1978). Litigation on matters of public concern may facilitate the informed public participation that is a cornerstone of democratic society. It also allows individuals to pursue desired ends by direct appeal to government officials charged with applying the law.
Speakers already planned for July 4th Convention. These are just some of people who are being attracted to this cause and are getting involved with this 2nd CONTINENTAL CONGRESS 2.0. because they are concerned Americans and know this is the only way to solve the problems in this great country. It cannot be done by protesting in the streets!

Who is Lawrence Lessig you ask?

For much of his academic career, Lessig has focused on law and technology, especially as it affects copyright. He is the author of five books on the subject - Remix (2008),Code v2 (2007), Free Culture (2004), The Future of Ideas (2001) and Code and Other Laws of Cyberspace (1999) - and has served as lead counsel in a number of important cases marking the boundaries of copyright law in a digital age, including Eldred v. Ashcroft, a challenge to the 1998 Sonny Bono Copyright Term Extension Act, and Golan v. Holder.
His current academic work addresses the question of "institutional corruption" - roughly, influences within an economy of influence that weaken the effectiveness of an institution, or weaken public trust. His current work at the EJ Safra Lab oversees a 5 year research project addressing institutional corruption in a number of institutional contexts.
Lessig has won numerous awards, including the Free Software Foundation's Freedom Award, and was named one of Scientific American's Top 50 Visionaries. He is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the American Philosophical Society. Lessig serves on the boards of Creative Commons, MAPLight, Brave New Film Foundation, Change Congress, The American Academy, Berlin, Freedom House and iCommons.org. He is on the advisory board of the Sunlight Foundation. He has previously served on the boards of the Free Software Foundation, the Software Freedom Law Center, Electronic Frontier Foundation, the Public Library of Science, Free Press, and Public Knowledge. Lessig was also a columnist for Wired, Red Herring, and the Industry Standard.

Who is Catherine Crier you ask?
CATHERINE CRIER is an Emmy and duPont-Columbia Award-winning journalist, and the youngest state judge to ever be elected in Texas, Catherine Crier is now a managing partner in Cajole Entertainment developing television, film and documentary projects.

Catherine was born in Dallas, Texas in 1954 to William and Ann Crier and has two sisters. Crier graduated from Richardson High School and University of Texas at Austin, from which she earned Bachelor of Arts in political science and international affairs. In college, she was a member of the Delta Delta Delta sorority.
Crier earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and international affairs from the University of Texas and her Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University School of Law. She began her career in law in 1978 as an Assistant District Attorney then Felony Chief Prosecutor for the Dallas County District Attorney's office. From 1982 to 1984, Crier was a civil litigation attorney with Riddle & Brown, handling complex business and corporate matters. In 1984, she was elected to the 162nd District Court in Dallas County, Texas as a State District Judge. During her tenure on the bench, Crier also served as Administrative Judge for the Civil District Courts and worked extensively with the ABA, National Judicial College, and Texas Legislature on legal issues.
Shortly after her reelection to a second term on the bench, a chance meeting with a television news executive led to a dramatic career change. In September, 1989, Crier was hired to co-anchor the premiere evening newscast on CNN. Additionally, she co-anchored Inside Politics, all election coverage, and hosted Crier & Company, a talk show covering news, politics and international issues. Crier joined ABC News in 1993, where she served as a correspondent and as a regular substitute anchor for Peter Jennings on ABC's World News Tonight, as well as a substitute host for Ted Koppel's Nightline. She also worked as a correspondent on 20/20, the network's primetime news magazine program.

Crier was awarded a 1996 Emmy for Outstanding Investigative Journalism for her work on the segment "The Predators" which examined nursing home abuses throughout the United States. In October of '96, Crier became one of the founding television anchors for the Fox News Channel, with her prime time program, The Crier Report, a live, hour-long nightly show, during which she interviewed the leading newsmakers of the day. Additionally, she co-anchored the evening news, election coverage and Fox Files, a magazine news show aired on the parent network. Catherine joined Court TV's distinguished team of anchors in November 1999. She served as Executive Editor, Legal News Specials, in addition to hosting Catherine Crier Live, a fast-paced, live daily series, covering the day's "front-page" stories, until joining Cajole Entertainment in 2007.
Crier released her first book, the NYTimes bestseller, The Case Against Lawyers in October, 2002. Her second book, A Deadly Game: The Untold Story of the Scott Peterson Investigation became a #1 NYTimes bestseller and was followed by Contempt-How the Right is Wronging American Justice, and Final Analysis: The Untold Story of the Susan Polk Murder Case. Her fifth book, Patriot Acts-What Americans Must Do to Save the Republic, was released on November 1, 2011.
