Over the last few years, other independent freelance journalists including myself, have tried to educate the American people about the Carlyle Group.

The Carlyle Group is the largest capital investment corporation in the world with far reaching political ramifications that affect our daily lives. It is one of the largest defense contractors in the world.

Carlyle was started by a member of the family that owns the Marriott Corporation and by a man named Steven Morris twenty five years ago. The board of directors consist of major present and ex-politicians as well as public servants from governments all over the world. Frank Carlucci, who was Secretary of Defense under President Reagan is the current Chairman of the Board. Many ex-politicians from both political parties are either paid consultants to the Group or on the corporations payroll, receiving benefits in stock of these various corporations the Group invests in.

Mr. Carlucci in his last days in the White House under President Reagan, managed to lobby and put through major changes at the Security Exchange Commission so that U.S. Corporations greatly reduced the reporting requirements of U.S. corporations reporting their foreign ownership or investments abroad. However, enough information was left to follow the "money".

You will learn of the unethical dealings and corruption of our politicians. You will now understand why we became involved in the Gulf War, the present Iraq war, and all wars of the last twenty five years. And why the present administration suddenly has an interest in Africa, when four years ago, President Bush said America had no interest in Africa. This is not just about Republicans, politicians from both parties are involved in this corruption.

I have written how America is mostly owned by people and corporations from other countries including the Arabs, the Japanese, the South Koreans, and certain power families in Germany and Britain. You will see the truth in this documentary.

This documentary recently aired on VPRO Dutch National Television in the Netherlands and several other European countries. This is something you will never see on CNN or any other major news media outlet in the United States. After watching this documentary, much will be brought to light. It shows why many people in many countries overseas resent America.

There are a few honest elected Representatives from Washington who talk about the Carlyle Group in the documentary. Charles Lewis, an independent journalist for the Center For Public Integrity, a non-profit, non political organization of independent journalists is one of the journalists. The Center as well as Mr. Lewis, seek out truth and try to bring that truth to the American Public. Truth seeking journalists and some elected members of our Congress who that have tried to expose this corruption have paid a heavy price to get the truth to the American public.

In the documentary, Steven Morrris, one of the founders of the Carlyle Group talks about the Group. These are excerpts from PR videos the Group has put out to try and remove the tarnish the group has recently been getting from being exposed worldwide by independent journalists. The Group also conducts investor meetings in Washington where the corporations headquarters are located. One part of the documentary shows one of these meetings.

I do not want to tell you what is in the documentary. If I do, you will probably say, "no way." But everything you will hear in the documentary is truth.

I've written many times in my columns that the truth sets one free. I hope this will set you free from the corruption which I know you have no idea has been going on for years.

There is something in the documentary that is very disturbing. On the the day of the 911 attack, the Carlyle Group was having a meeting in a hotel in Washington D.C. and watched the 911 attack as it was happenning. Who was at that meeting? Former President Bush Sr. and members of the Bin Laden family. Something is terribly wrong here my fellow Americans.
