MAPLE CUSTARD

1 egg
2 egg whites
1/2 teaspoon maple flavoring
A pinch of sea salt
1 3/4 cups of very warm low-fat milk
4 teaspoons maple flavored syrup
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
Calories 125, 25 fat from fat per serving bar
Heat oven to 350. Beat egg, egg whites, sugar and other ingredients except milk together in bowl. Gradually stir in the milk by hand. Pour into four 6 ounce custard cups. Drop 1 teaspoon of maple syrup into the center of each cup. Place the cups on a baking pan that is at least 2 inches deep in middle of oven. Pour boiling water into the pan within 1/2 of the top of the cups. Bake about 45 minutes or until a knife inserted comes out clean. Remove cups from water/pvern, let stand 15 minutes. Unmold, serve warm or refrigerate to serve cold.
