BEEF STEW

Approx. Cooking Time
45 minutes
1 cup onion -- chopped
1 cup carrot -- chopped
1 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup red bell pepper -- chopped
2 cloves garlic -- pressed or 2 teaspoons of minced garlic
1 teaspoon of grapeseed oil or olive oil
2 teaspoons cayenne
1/2 teaspoon white or black pepper
1 teaspoon of low sodium salt or natural sea salt
1 14 ounce can diced tomatoes
1 14 ounce tomato sauce
1 14 oucne can beef broth
1 cup water
2 pounds beef stew
Place all liquid with stew meat in pot. Add sprices. Cook for 15 minutes. Add vegetables, cook another 30 minutes. Serve with cornbread or spelt bread.
