Let there be peace on earth and good will towards men. Will it ever happen? Not until all of mankind truly begins to correct what it wrong in their own homes. Home is where the heart is, and love begins in the heart. It begins with a very simple teaching, love they fellow man as you would love thyself. This teaching is in all faiths and religions on earth.

Why have we ignored it?

It makes no difference what religion you practice. Whether it be that you are a Christian, a Muslim, a Baptist, a Catholic or even an atheist. This teaching, this state of mind simply has to do with a very simple concept, given to us from a higher source. It has living in peace and harmony with all things, you not only believe, but will do no harm to others.

Any religious teaching that teaches killing in the name of God for any reason is a false religion in my opinion. Any religion that teaches it is the only true religion is a false religion as well. No where has it been written in any book that says God said so. Man has said so, but not God himself. God is about spirit and soul given to each of us by God. Do you think that God created us and blessed us with a spirit and soul in a physical earth incarnation to go around killing each other in his name. I don't believe so. That is not what God is about or teaches in any books of religion. Religious zealots in every religion have twisted and turned around the word of God to suit their own selfish wants and desires to become their own God on earth, to control people by the masses, not in the name of God, but there own selfishness.

Why is it that this simple understanding is not understood by so many? It is an easy answer, for if they truly had the spirit of God within them, and truly felt him within, they would do NO harm to another. It is as plain and simple as that.

I know I have many readers from across the globe. Christians, Muslims, Baptists, Catholics, represented from every known religion. Even a group called Earth Children.

All this hatred towards one another must stop. Abraham is the father of all religions in case you do not know that. Abraham also taught love above all things.

I ask everyone person that is reading this to go within their hearts this holiday season and ask your heart these questions?

When is the last time I called my parents and said I love you?

When is the last time I called a friend and said, I love you?

When is the last time you have spoken to that brother or sister, ones you have not spoken to in years because of some stupid mis-understanding and said, I love you?

When is the last time you went somewhere and helped the unfornunate? The homeless, or going to a childrens hospital, bringing small gifts to cheer them up? Did you know that dieing children know exactly what I am talking about, if you don't read this COLUMN of mine.

Why do I hate my fellow man and want to kill him? Am I doing it from my spirit or listening to someone else telling me I must for what truly valid reason? There is no reason to kill your fellow man for any reason.

If you are in the middle of possibly separating from your life mate. Think very, very seriously about what you are doing. Make sure you are letting love guide you and nothing and no one else. Make sure you are not thinking in selfish ways. Do not let pride get in the way. Admit when you were wrong. Ask for forgiveness. Love does and can heal. This time of the year has the highest increase of people separating from one another than any other time of year.

Mankind is just plain stupid. We have the resources and technology to stop all hungur. We have the most brilliant scientific minds all over the world and the technological resources to find cures for all diseases in a very short amount of time. Why is this not being done? I'll tell you, greed, another man made evil. Greed is not of God. If he was, would he have created such a garden for us, Mother Earth and hand it to us to care for? It is one thing to want to enjoy the best in life, but not at the expense of your fellow man. That is not just a sin, it is simply wrong. There is a right and wrong in this world, there is no gray matter in between. Man has created too much gray matter so he doesn't have to deal with such things has honesty and truth.

If I sound like I am preaching a sermon, maybe I am. What I am saying are truths. I don't have to qualify them in any way that they are truths, because all you have to do is look at what is happenning in the world today. It is one screwed up mess.

Killing each other over ignorant religious and ignorant man made distorted teachings is down right stupid. Killing mother earth by our pollution because of greed is wrong. It was given to us to protect. Letting millions go hungry because of our greed. Where is our heart, where is it that we speak oen thing, but do another concerning our fellow man. I hear people, "oh those poor souls." Well to them that say something like that I tell them, "Get off your duff and do something to change it." Letting fear get in the way of doing what is right only destroys people in the end of things. Taking that first step in making a difference is the first step in feeling your true spirit within will then lead to another and another step of growth. A growth of mankind that will change the very face of its' ugly face that it now has. Give a smile to someone you do not know. Saying no to someone that is doing something wrong. Stand up for something that is wrong. Making a difference instead of just going through life existing and using everything and everyone up in the process is the way that mankind can turly make this a paradise. Not contributing a thing only brings the negatives.

Do I sound angry? Yes, I am angry because I see the mockery that man is truly making of God's true teaching and intent for his children. If there is a tyrant that is playing God anywhere in the world, the souls within people must see this and make a difference by saying NO, I will not accept this anymore. I am speaking about men such as Hitler, Hussein, anyone that lives for himself and not for the people. If people suffer at the hands of any man, that is reason enough for anyone to see that the man is not a good man.

In Pakistan, there are hundreds of schools that teach orphaned young men hatred of Americans. They look upon Americans, Christians or Jew as "infidels". This is what these schools teach to these young boys who will one day become men. President Pervez Musharraf of Pakistan has done nothing to close down these schools. How can the President of Pakistan say he is friends with the United States when these schools are still allowed to remain open teaching hatred. There is a double standard here, a hypocrisy.

And where have the Taliban gone? According to Mohammed Naeem Safai, as reported in Time Magazine, December 10th, 2001, "Most Taliban leaders are now in Pakistan." Safai, who was the Taliban's former Director of Information in Afghanistan, snuck across the border himself and is now in a refugee camp outside Peshawar along with other Taliban leaders. Has Pakistan turned over these leaders to the U.S.? Furthermore, Safai says that when the U.S. stops bombing Afghanistan, the Taliban will go back to Afghanistan. There are about 8,000 unaccounted Taliban after Kunduz and Mazar-Sharif fell. According to sources in Time, all snuck across the border to Pakistan and are still there. Also, has President Musharraf done anything to eliminate the people that are in his security division that remain loyal to the Taliban? A Pakistani official stated, "If America hands over power in Afghanistan to those tribal warlords, the Taliban will be back in six months and the Afghans will welcome them back even it if means reburying their television sets." My question is this. Why is our country giving billions of dollars to Pakistan in the wake of this truths. Hello Americans, you should be asking these questions to your elected officials. Get off your duff and join the world. Stop expecting everyone else to take the banner for things that are wrong.

Here is another example. Did anyone catch the six page advertisement about Saudia Arabia and King Fahd celebrating the 20th anniversary of the reign of King Fahd back in November of last year? This was a paid advertisement the royal family paid for in the Newsweek issue of November 26th, 2001? In this advertisement, former President George Bush Sr. stated, "An extraordinarily, cooperative, determined, principled monarch. He's a wonderful man. Oh, I have known him personally. I have known him in a most respective way." And now we know of over 20 Saudi businessmen who have funded Al-Gheda members. Is this hyprocisy at its' highest level or am I just imagining things here?

The Saudi royal family consists of about 30,000 people who live the life of the rich flying all over the world in their private jets while nearly 70% of the population in Saudi Arabia live in poverty. What is wrong with this picture? Did anyone see the gold chairs when Secretary Rumsfeld visited the King back in November. Did did anyone notice how the King DID NOT get up to greet Secretary Rumsfeld, but remained seated? This man was not treating Secretatry as an equal. This man thinks he is a God, a KING above all others. There is only one KING, one God and that is God, the true God himself and he certainly is not living her on earth in this mess. Someone once told me, actions from a person always speak louder than any words they may mouth.

It is no different in many Muslin countries. In Egypt, President Mubarak still allows the state owned press to print anti-American and anti-Semitic rants, does nothing to end the glorification of suicide bombers. He refuses to listen to other voices in the country.

In Palestine and Israel. Arafat has been doing nothing to eliminate terrorists in the Palestine areas. And Sharon in Israel is a war monger that wants to simply bomb and kill every Palestine he can. And therefore, the killings back and forth go on. Iran and Iraq are a hotbeds ready to explode. One country is controlled by religious zealots, the other by a madman who thinks he is to be the world's ruler. Both have not entered the 21st century in truly taking care of their people. Starvation still abounds in these countries. Children die from lack of medical care.

Here in the United States, why are we putting up with all this double speak from politicians. Why when we learn that they lie we do nothing. Why do we just sit back and let it go? Have Americans lost their values by not standing up and saying that is wrong?

Let there be peace on earth and goodwill towards men will only be seen when all of mankind stops its' inhumanity to one another. Men must stop listening to religious zealots of any type and start listening to that silent voice within. That silent voice is God speaking to each and every soul with the real truth.

Men like Osama must be ignored by every country. The teaching of children whether it be in Israel, Palestine or Pakistan to hate others because they don't practice the same faith or religion must stop, this is wrong, very wrong. No one can justify this. The religious battle over land in Israel and Palestine must stop. Instead, mankind must direct its' resources to an ever dwindling water and food supply. Mankind must pool their resources to fight an ever increasing new strain of viruses that one day will wipe out mankind. These viruses are already starting to emerge, flesh eating bacteria that kills in three days. Mankind must work to solve the real important problems of mankind that they are are missing and ignor the childish things they are still fighting over. Mankind must stop abusing Mother Earth.

Whether one is a Christian, a Muslim, a Hindu, a Jew, a Palestine, if all of you people truly believe in a God, then you should all know that God is a loving God. He does not teach anything that you are to hate or destroy one another, any of his children. If you have been taught this, are being taught this, go within and feel God, feel the real truth, it is there.

Mankind I believe in this new century is experiencing a tremendous religious growth period of all time. The cleansing of the old which was corrupted is allowing for the new truth to surface within every human being. But is having a difficult time because of mans hypocritical ways and greed. This I believe is why mankind is paying a heavy price in human life now. I only hope that mankind wakes up and sees that together, they truly can create a heaven on earth and there will be peace on earth and goodwill towards men.

To all of the military personnel in the middle east and especially those military personnel that have written me recently, I wish you a very Merry Christmas and would like to thank you personally for your courageous efforts in fighting wrong. Our nation is proud of you and you need to know that! Thank you for your supportive emails of my columns.

I would like to end this column in a lighter note of wishing you, my readers of my columns, a very Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year. We have entered a new century full of promises if only we see them and let them grow into something good. Letting God within talk to us and not a mere man.

This coming winter, help your fellow man that are less fortunate. And I don't mean just handing a dollar bill to a homeless person. Take that person to a shelter if need be. Help get that person to an agency that can help himself. Call those you love, even those you don't like, tell them you love them. Forget about old hurts and arguments with anyone. Extend your hand with love, for my friends that is what living is about. Love...without it, this world would be a hell...all we have to do is show more love, for love can heal all.

Each year, I like to share the following poem that I wrote a few years ago. I hope that it gives you something special to think about. I dedicated this to my Mother, who was killed by a drunk driver on Christmas Day in 1986.
