Speech by Michelle Obama at the Democratic Convention - Denver

Michelle ObamaTonight, as I watched Michelle Obama give her speech on the floor of the Democratic Convention, and the additional research I have done on Mrs. Obama of what she has done with her life, I witnessed an amazing woman filled with wisdom of knowing that we truly are all in this together and most importantly, that we must all care for one another. This is evident by Mrs. Obama's years of dedicated service in Out Reach programs to help her fellow man regardless of color or place in life.

Why? Because when she looks at a person, she simply sees the person and most importantly honestly cares about them.

When I first wrote the following article in May of this year, bringing to light Mrs. Obama's thesis she wrote at Princeton 23 years ago, I paused somewhat because of certain things she wrote in her thesis. I realize now and admit what I did not see then what I now see.

When Mrs. Obama wrote her thesis 23 years ago, she was actually 25 years before her time. You're asking 25 years before her time? She was 25 years before her time because what she was trying to do in the poll she was taking at Princeton, was not to generate racism, she was trying to expose racism for the evil that it was back then. Sadly, even to some degree today that evil still exists in this country. And that must change.

Unless you expose those things for the ugliness that they are so that so that people must truly being to think about them, but most importantly to finally deal with them instead of shoving them back into the closet, this is what people of wisdom do to affect change that is needed. That is what Ms. Obama's was attempting to do in her thesis some 23 years ago.

We have, in this country, for too many years kept shoving things back in the closet because we don't want to deal with them. That must change. We must address health care for everyone. We must bring the jobs back home to make our economy whole again. We must stop the purchase of Washington by corporations and global interests. And we must never, ever again start a war unless it is for a just cause and most importantly is properly executed and not micro managed like the Iraq war was from the beginning by a civilian bureaucrat, the Secretary of Defense at the time. And we should have had a President smart of enough to have seen that and done something about it. Did we? No ! That mis-management cost countless of American lives that should never have happened. We were just in bringing freedom to the people of Iraq, burdened with an evil dicator who killed his own people, we were not just in how we implemented that war and how it was managed poorly which cost needless American lives.

So, I am leaving my original article as I first wrote it, but also adding this postscript. As you read the following article and even Mrs. Obama's thesis, read it with wisdom. See what she was really trying to accomplish back then and not what your mind is confusing you with of what you think she was saying. She simply was trying to expose the racism that still existed back which needed to be dealt with, but few were willing tackle.

I am glad I saw Mrs. Obama's speech tonight. I have always said, a person can say alot of worthless words, it is their actions that speak more clearly of who they truly are. As you get to know Mrs. Obama's dedication throughout her life in helping her fellow man to better themselves, you will clearly see that those actions back her words that she spoke tonight on the Convention floor.

And last, because I now see the strength, the values, and the caring Mrs. Obama has for her fellow man, I also see that she would not be married to Senator Obama unless he too had that same depth of character. That depth is something we have not had in a politician since President John Kennedy. I would be proud to have Senator Obama as President of this country and Mrs. Obama is a gracious caring woman who cares about her fellow man and I would be proud to have her as the First Lady. Maybe then can we finally get some things done in this country like making sure that 11 million children in this country no longer go hungry at night!

Where Is Michelle Obama In All This?
Does She Still Believe In What She Wrote 23 Years Ago?

Postscript from David Lawrence Dewey...
The following factual information in this article is simply being reported...nothing more.

Michelle ObamaIn her senior thesis at Princeton, Michele Obama, the wife of Barack Obama stated that America was a nation founded on "crime and hatred". Moreover, she stated that whites in America were "ineradicably racist". Michelle Obama's 1985 thesis, titled "Princeton-Educated Blacks and the Black Community" was written under her maiden name, Michelle LaVaughn Robinson.

In her thesis, Michelle Obama wrote, "There was no doubt in my mind that as a member of the black community, I am obligated to this community and will utilize all of my present and future resources to benefit the black community first and foremost. "

Ten Years Ago...Thirteen Years After Writing Her Thesis

Barrack and Michelle Obama started attending the controversial Reverend Wright's Church and the beliefs of Reverend Wright are well known. But don't judge them because of Reverend Wright!

The following passages Mrs. Obama wrote in her thesis:

"Predominately white universities like Princeton are socially and academically designed to cater to the needs of the white students comprising the bulk of their enrollments."

The Conclusion Of Her Thesis:

Michelle Obama's poll of black alumni concludes that other black students at Princeton do not share her obsession with blackness. But rather than celebrate, she is horrified that the black alumni identify with common American culture more than they value the color of their skin. Obama wrote in her thesis, "I hoped that these findings would help me conclude that despite the high degree of identification with whites as a result of the educational and occupational path that black Princeton alumni follow, the alumni would still maintain a certain level of identification with the black community. However, these findings do not support this possibility."

Most black alumni ignored her racist questionnaire. Only 89 students responded out of 400 who were asked for input on the survey she was conducting. Most wanted nothing to do with the survey for some reason.

Does Michelle Obama look into a crowd of Obama supporters and see Americans or does she sees black people and white people eternally conflicted with one another? Most importantly, does she believe that blacks and whites have been, or should still be divided and does she still believe in serving the black community first and foremost?

Ms. Obama's thesis reflects thoughts of a world view seen through a race-based prism. Is this a divisive view needing questioning? Should Michelle Obama's intellectually refined racism give all Americans pause for deep concern? Or were these the writings of a very young black woman studying for a law degree?

Any person involved in any of these candidates races has been repoted on over for various things. Will the press, ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CNN let Mrs. Obama get a free pass over her obviously racist comment about American whites? Is this an important issue that should be addressed and answered?

Michelle Obama stated in her thesis that to.. "Whites at Princeton , it often seems as if, to them, she will always be Black first..." However, it was reported by a fellow black classmate, "If those "Whites at Princeton " really saw Michelle as one who always would "be Black first," it seems that she gave them that impression".

Michele Obama's use of the terms "separationist" and "integrationist" when describing the views of black people is somewhat disturbing. Mrs. Obama clearly identifies herself with a "separationist" view of race in this statement in her thesis, "By actually working with the Black lower class or within their communities as a result of their ideologies, a separationist may better understand the desperation of their situation and feel more hopeless about a resolution as opposed to an integrationist who is ignorant to their plight."

Obama further wrote that the path she chose by attending Princeton would likely lead to her "further integration and/or assimilation into a white cultural and social structure that will only allow me to remain on the periphery of society; never becoming a full participant." Is this a racist statement?

In the tone of Obama's thesis, she sees not only separate black and white societies in America , but she elevates black over white in her world. Does Michelle Obama still believe what she wrote 23 years ago?

What is of concerned is the fact that Michelle Obama wrote this thesis 23 years ago. Yes, that is 23 years ago, however, thirteen years later after writing her thesis, she and Senator Obama started attending Reverend Wright's controversial Church. Reverend Wright's controversial and obvious racists statements have been aired on every news network and even YOU-TUBE. Then...for the next ten years, she and Senator Obama attend a church whose minister echos many of the same beliefs Ms. Obama wrote about 23 years ago.

What is the answer to this...is this coincidence? What is also confusing is how could she and Senator Obama attend a church for ten years not knowing the mentality of Reverend Wright's controversial beliefs. Senator Obama was slow to respond to Reverend Wright's first disclosures and then finally responded only after some time. Why did it take so long? One other question is, did Senator Obama marry Ms. Obama knowing her beliefs in such matters?

I leave the answers to you, the voters to decide. Should Ms. Obama be asked to make a statement regarding this? And most certainly all of the delegates and Super Delegates should be asking these questions as well.

The information that I have reported in this piece is just that, presenting the facts. I am not reporting it for any purpose other than that.

You can download Michelle Obama's full these in four parts at this website:

Originally, Princeton had Ms. Obama's thesis in their archives locked until after November 22, 2008. I wonder why? Princeton finally released the lock in March after many complaints ofnot having access to it.
